January 20, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Presented by Jeff Harding, Beverage Director at the Waverly Inn and Carrie Lyn Strong, Founder of Strong Wine Consulting
Join Jeff Harding, Beverage Director at the Waverly Inn and Carrie Lyn Strong, Founder of Strong Wine Consulting, as they explore with you and help navigate a fine dining wine list. In this one-hour discussion, Jeff and Carrie will teach you the basics of reading a wine list, communicating with a Sommelier, helpful wine vocabulary, and how to find value in selecting a wine. Did you ever wonder if there is a “sweet spot” on the menu, if “pairing” your wine is truly important, or how to choose an appropriate and amazing wine for a special occasion or in front of your boss and colleagues? Jeff and Carrie will gladly answer your wine list and fine dining questions in this interactive conversation.
The webinar will be recorded and archived for American Friends members after the event. All live events are listed for Eastern Standard Time unless otherwise noted.
